Inside the Locker Room
with Andrew Jacobs

Hello to all the Fusion Fans out there, allow me to introduce myself. I’m your new Fusion Pro Investigator, Andrew Jacobs. Victoria Star recently hired me to keep all you fans posted on the backstage goings on with all your favorite superstars. In addition to a few opinion columns, highlighting the history of the conflict that drives all FUSION shows, I’ll be posting several interviews with the stars. My first day on the job was at Ascension this past Saturday, and I received an eye opening entry into pro wrestling. Aside from a brutal I quit match, I saw the crowning of FUSION’S 3rd Champion in Juntsu. After the event, I caught up with several stars for a quick interview.

NOTE: I attempted to interview “Mr. Intensity” Jeff McAllister, but he resounded that he had better things to do that waste time with some stupid reporter.

Jason Chambers

How do you feel after you victory over the Amish Warrior? What Warrior? You call that a war? I whipped his butt from pillar to post, I won clean tonight... and this is supposed to be competition? Give me a break.

So you don’t feel that you should continue to be in the APWA showcase? Hey, I’ve won two matches in a row, decisively. How many times do I have to prove myself? I’m not a beginner anymore, when do I get to shine?

You actually think you’re ready for the big time? Most definitely.

Do you even think you’re ready to take on Jack Mecidol, the man who beat you before? Oh he’s next. I beat the warrior tonight and took his spot in line.

Can we consider that an open challenge to “The Bruiser?” Oh yeah, and unlike some people, I won’t taunt him with a pitchfork. I’ll beat that piece of gutter trash, just like I beat the Warrior. I’ve already put Mercury Matt Yaden on the shelf, and Mecidol’s next.

Well, Mr. Chambers, thank you for your time. Your pleasure

“ Sensational” Paul Diamond

Champ, how do you feel about not being able to pull this one out? I’m very disappointed, I could make excuses why I lost, or I could complain about it, but it’s not over.

Can we expect you to challenge for a rematch at Malcontent? I want my belt back, and I’m coming for it. We’ll just have to see what happens.

So you have no fear of the Beast Juntsu? I respect the beast now. To overcome something, you have to fully understand it. Tonight, I learned a very hard lesson, but even though my luck turned on me tonight, I still count my blessings; I’ll be better prepared next time.

So we haven’t seen the last of Paul Diamond? You’ve never seen the last of Paul Diamond

FUSION PRO CHAMPION, JUNTSU

First off, Congratulations on your victory tonight, how does it feel? Feels great, everything I worked for, busting your butt everyday, you sweat, and you bleed. This is the ultimate prize.

So you don’t pay attention to your critics who say you don’t deserve this? Damn right, I’ve busted my butt for 3 long years, of course I deserve this.

Are you worried about a rematch with Diamond? He can come all he wants, fact of the matter is, next time it’s gonna be a hell of a lot faster, and there won’t be a big dumb guy to help him.

Speaking of the man who came to Diamond’s aide, do you know him? No clue who he is, but I’ll tell you, he stuck his nose in the wrong place. Only enough room for one big guy in FUSION, and that’s me. Don’t believe me? Look around my waist.

So you would accept a challenge from him if it came? When I’m ready. I’m the champ now, everything’s on my terms

How do you respond to people who say that you shouldn’t have received a title shot? My match was put off. I have beat almost everyone in FUSION. There’s no reason my match should have been put off for so long. I did what I had to do to put myself in that show

Morales claims you stole his shot. And it worked.

What about the fans that claim you wouldn’t be anywhere without the illegal interference from Money Man John Blaze? You know what; I have some Saki and Sushi to take of. This interview is over. Get out of the champ’s face.

All in all, an action packed night at The Red Lion. Until next time, keep on slamming –

Andrew Jacobs.
