Carnage 2007

Our first match out saw Aimee Williams defeated Denae Mitchell with a neckbreaker to bring them each to 1 and 1.

Next out Charley B announced that Paul Diamond asked for some time to talk about how his last few matches, which included two title matches, have been interfered in.  Duff came out to apologize, then asked the crowd if they wanted to see the two go at it again.  Juntsu came out and informed the crowd he should still be the Fusion champ since he never lost the title.  This caused Jeff to come out and was in the middle of proclaiming himself the first ever two-time Fusion champion when he was interrupted by Billy V who said he should be the number one contender since he beat Juntsu at Nexus last month.   This brought out Fusion Board of Director member, Victoria Starr.  She went off on Billy V stating that she did not even know why he was saying he should be named number one contender, since in the Fusion Board’s eye, he has not shown them anything worthy of a title shot.  She then gave him a change to show his worth by putting him in a handicap match against “Mercury” Matt Yaden and “Your Idol” Jack Mecidol later in the show.   Next she made the Main Event for August 4th at Brawl for it all.  It will be “Sensational” Paul Diamond vs. “The Beast” Juntsu vs. “Mr. Intensity” Jeff McAllister vs. the Fusion Pro Champion Duff Doyle in a Fatal Four Way for the Fusion Pro Title.  Since she felt that the 3 former champions and the current champ could not get along, she made the main event for Carnage a tag match.  Pitting Duff Doyle and “Mr. Intensity” Jeff McAllister against “Sensational” Paul Diamond and “The Beast” Juntsu, Ms. Starr stating that if they couldn’t get along she would make them get along.

The second match of the night was “The Sure Thing” Jason Noel vs. Dustin Uhrich.  While “The Sure Thing” put on a good show, but he was pinned, when Dustin hit his flying elbow off the top.

Our third match was scheduled as an interview between “Hollywood” JDT and Stonedifirous the Magnificent but turned into a brawl when JDT tried to apologize to Stonedifirous about losing their tag match at Nexus.  JDT showed tape from that last show and stated it was due to the illegal interference of “The Sure Thing” Jason Noel and a powerbomb off the top, that caused their lose.  Stonedifirous asked to have the tape rewound about a minute and then this showed JDT blind tagging himself in when Stonedifirous hit a crossbody from the top and went for a cover.  Stonedifirous had the tape rewound and played in slow motion three more times just to prove his point.  A shoving match ensued which again brought out Victoria Starr and she stated that if they wanted to fight each other so bad to go ahead.  While the bell was being rand, Stonedifirous attacked JDT from behind and put the boots to him.  Stonedifirous wound up getting the victory after two low blows and hitting his finisher for the win.

The fourth match of the night saw a new addition to the Fusion Roster.  It was “Straight Laced” Tommy Boucher against Fusion’s Resident Rock Star, Arik Angel.  The Rock star had a huge fan following but couldn’t pull out a victory.  A rookie mistake later and Straight Laced won with a roll up.

The Semi Main Event of the evening was the Handicap match pitting “The One The Only” Billy V against “Your Idol” Jack Mecidol and “Mercury” Matt Yaden.  Billy gave it his all and when all appeared lost, Jack was holding Billy up for a kick to the face from Yaden.  Billy ducked and Yaden kick Jack over the top rope to the outside.  This allowed Billy to surprise Yaden with a Diamond Cutter to get the one-two-three.

Our Main event for the evening was not a let down.  Victoria Starr stated that if Duff Doyle, “Mr. Intensity” Jeff McAllister, “Sensational” Paul Diamond and “The Beast” Juntsu couldn’t get along, she would make them get along.  True to life it didn’t last.    Duff had the match won and Jeff came in and stole the pin.  Even though Duff and Jeff won the match, utter chaos resulted in the end.

What will happen at Brawl for it all?  Be there to find out.
