General Agreements

CLICK HERE to read the Rules, Terms and Conditions. Read through these carefully, by signing up you agree to adhere to all rules and requirements set out for trainees of the Welsh Wrestling School. If trainees break the Welsh Wrestling School rules they will be asked to leave.

We reserve the right to refuse to train any individual we choose without reason.

If you suffer from any medical issues that may be aggravated by wrestling training we recommend seeking medical advice before joining.

If there are any changes to your fitness levels or further medical issues, Dojo management must be informed.

The Welsh Wrestling School takes no responsibility for injuries or medical issues caused from training or wrestling.

Please be aware that wrestling training is a FULL contact activity and it is very possible to sustain injury or worse. By signing up you agree that you are aware of the nature of wrestling and the Welsh Wrestling School takes no responsibility for injuries or medical issues caused whilst training or wrestling.

We retain the rights to use photos of training and trainees for publicity purposes, by signing up you also agree to this.

Anyone under the age of 16 are required to bring a parental consent form along with them, this can be printed off or please contact us to arrange a physical copy to be sent out to you.
Waiver of Liability
RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT WITH PARENTAL CONSENT Minor Release:
I, THE MINOR’S PARENT AND/OR LEGAL GUARDIAN, UNDERSTAND THE NATURE OF THE ACTIVITY AND THE MINOR’S EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITIES AND BELIEVE THE MINOR TO BE QUALIFIED, IN GOOD HEALTH, AND IN PROPER PHYSICAL CONDITION TO PARTICIPATE IN SUCH ACTIVITY.
I HEREBY RELEASE, DISCHARGE, COVENANT NOT TO SUE, AND AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND SAVE AND HOLD HARMLESS EACH OF THE RELEASEES FROM ALL LIABILITY, CLAIMS, DEMANDS, LOSSES, OR DAMAGES ON THE MINOR’S ACCOUNT CAUSED, OR ALLEGED TO BE CAUSED, IN WHOLE OR IN PART BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE “RELEASEES” OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING NEGLIGENT RESCUE OPERATIONS AND FURTHER AGREE THAT IF, DESPITE THIS RELEASE, I, THE MINOR, OR ANYONE ON THE MINOR’S BEHALF MAKES A CLAIM AGAINST ANY OF THE RELEASEES NAMED ABOVE, I WILL INDEMNIFY, SAVE, AND HOLD HARMLESS EACH OF THE RELEASEES FROM ANY LITIGATION EXPENSES, LEGAL FEES, LOSS LIABILITY, DAMAGE, OR ANY COST THAT MAY OCCUR AS A RESULT OF ANY SUCH CLAIM.
Release for 18 years and older:
IN CONSIDERATION of being permitted to participate in any way in any event (“Activity”) at any time during the current membership year I, for myself, my personal representatives, assigns, heirs, and next of kin:
1. ACKNOWLEDGE, agree, and represent that I understand the nature of the Activity and that I am qualified, in good health, and in proper physical condition to participate in such Activity. I further agree and warrant that if, at any time, I believe the conditions to be unsafe, I will immediately discontinue further participation in the Activity.
2. FULLY UNDERSTAND that: (a) THIS ACTIVITY INVOLVES RISKS AND DANGERS OF SERIOUS BODILY INJURY, INCLUDING PERMANENT DISABILITY, PARALYSIS, AND DEATH (“Risks”); (b) these Risks and dangers may be caused by my own actions or inactions, the actions or inactions of others participating in the Activity, the conditions in which the Activity takes place, or THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE “RELEASEES” NAMED BELOW; (c) there may be OTHER RISKS or SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC LOSSES either not known to me or not readily foreseeable at this time; and I FULLY ACCEPT AND ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS AND ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOSSES, COSTS, AND DAMAGES I incur as a result of my participation, or that of the minor, in the Activity.
3. HEREBY RELEASE, DISCHARGE, AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE the sanctioning organisation(s), their administrators, directors, agents, officers, members, volunteers, and employees, other participants, officials, rescue personnel, sponsors, advertisers, owners and lessees of Premises on which the Activity is conducted, (each of the forgoing shall be considered one of the RELEASEES herein) FROM ALL LIABILITY, CLAIMS, DEMANDS, LOSSES, OR DAMAGES ON MY ACCOUNT CAUSED, OR ALLEGED TO BE CAUSED, IN WHOLE OR IN PART BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING NEGLIGENT RESCUE OPERATIONS; AND I FURTHER AGREE that if, despite this RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT I, or anyone on my behalf, makes a claim against any of the Releasees, I WILL INDEMNIFY, SAVE, AND HOLD HARMLESS EACH OF THE RELEASEES from any litigation expenses, attorney fees, loss, liability, damage, or cost which may be incurred as the result of such claim.
I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I AM AGE 18 OR OLDER, HAVE READ THIS AGREEMENT AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT, HAVE SIGNED IT FREELY AND WITHOUT ANY IN- DUCEMENT OR ASSURANCE OF ANY NATURE, AND I INTEND IT TO BE A COMPLETE AND UNCONDITIONAL RELEASE OF ALL LIABILITY TO THE GREATEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW AND AGREE THAT IF ANY PORTION OF THIS AGREEMENT IS HELD TO BE INVALID, THE BALANCE, NOTWITHSTANDING, SHALL CONTINUE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT.
Please note, by signing up you waive your right to take any action against the Welsh Wrestling School if injury or death is sustained whilst training at the Welsh Wrestling School.
The Welsh Wrestling School reserves the right to alter the schools terms and conditions or rules without prior notice or warning.
Final Agreements
By undertaking wrestling training under banner of Welsh Wrestling School I hereby agree to the following;

I shall not hold the Welsh Wrestling School, or any of it's staff, trainers or management, responsible for an injury or accident resulting from ordinary negligence, accident or from the act of wrestling or general activity (including cardiovascular and weight training).

Any medical conditions that could be affected by training must be disclosed to the aforementioned. The Welsh Wrestling School recommends medical advice before training with a medical condition.

Anyone training with the Welsh Wrestling School and doing so with a medical condition does so at their own risk and the Welsh Wrestling School and associated trainers take no responsibility for injury, accident or worsening of said condition.

Please fill in all your details before attending a session, but filling in your details and clicking 'Submit' you agree to the above conditions and do not hold the Welsh Wrestling School, or any of its sister groups, trainers or associates responsible for any injury sustained while engaged in any sort of training, exercise, fitness or wrestling activity or any activity carried out at wrestling events or training sessions.

You are heavily advised to purchase your own personal insurance when training with the Welsh Wrestling School.

The Welsh Wrestling School takes no responsibility for injury sustained whilst wrestling, or training, while uninsured.
