FUSION Pro Wrestling kicked off 2026 with its annual Grand Rumble event at Llanfairfechan Community Hall, delivering a night of surprises, returns, and major storyline developments. The show featured the crowning of a Grand Rumble winner who will challenge for the FUSION Grand Championship at Masters 2026, alongside title action and a dramatic betrayal within the Khaos faction.

Brian Stone def. Cillian Slade

2025 Trainee of the Year Cillian Slade stepped into the ring with a tough challenge in the form of FUSION veteran “The Salford Submission Machine” Brian Stone.

Slade showed impressive determination against the experienced technician, pushing Stone with several strong counters and bursts of offence. However, Stone’s ring awareness and submission expertise eventually proved too much for the rising star, as the veteran secured the victory.

Despite the loss, Slade’s performance showed why he was named Trainee of the Year.

CCW Academy def. Wynn Williams, Judas & Danger Davis

FUSION Pro Academy Head Trainer Wynn Williams brought two of his own graduates to the ring, teaming with Judas and Danger Davis to face the newest members of the academy.

In what many expected to be a showcase for the experienced trio, the academy newcomers shocked the crowd by pulling off an upset victory. The win marked a significant moment for the young wrestlers, proving that the next generation of FUSION talent is ready to make its mark.

Krimson Khaos & Timmy King def. Wruffians of Khaos

(Konnah Khaos & Matt Merciless)

Faction warfare continued as Krimson Khaos and Timmy King faced the Wruffians of Khaos, consisting of Konnah Khaos and Matt Merciless.

After a competitive match, Krimson and King secured the victory—but the real story unfolded after the bell.

Following a series of recent losses to Krimson Khaos, Matt Merciless was shockingly turned on by his own allies, Joey Marcus and Konnah Khaos. The attack left Merciless vulnerable until Krimson Khaos stormed the ring to make the save, potentially signalling major fractures within the Khaos faction.

CCW Welsh Championship

Joey Marcus (c) def. Charles Wilson

FUSION newcomer Charles Wilson stepped up to challenge Joey Marcus for the CCW Welsh Championship.

Wilson delivered a strong performance and pushed the champion throughout the contest, but Marcus’ experience and ruthless edge ultimately allowed him to retain the title.

The victory would prove to be only the beginning of a huge night for Marcus.

Grand Rumble Match

Winner: Joey Marcus

The annual Grand Rumble featured a number of memorable moments and surprise appearances.

Among the returning competitors were:

  • The Manical Chairman Mason Tombs

  • Pastor Everett Teague, competing in his final ever in-ring appearance

  • A mysterious newcomer known as Amber Glow

However, the biggest mystery of the night surrounded Amber Glow, as many fans began questioning whether the newcomer might actually be Danny Trow in disguise.

Earlier in the evening it had been revealed that Danny Trow was forced to retire following his loss of the Totally Radical and Super Hardcore Championships at FrightFest to Konnah Khaos, making the identity of Amber Glow a major talking point.

When the dust finally settled, Joey Marcus outlasted the entire field to win the Grand Rumble, capping off a dominant night for the Welsh Champion.

With the victory, Marcus has earned the right to challenge for the FUSION Grand Championship at Masters 2026.
